My First Mall Experience in Toronto

Updated: Oct 21, 2024

I spent half of my day exploring a large mall in Toronto, Ontario. I went to the country’s leading shopping mall: Yorkdale Mall.

The mall opened today, Civic Holiday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Since I arrived in Toronto, most of my friends have recommended Yorkdale Mall. It has hundreds of stores, including famous designer labels.

The TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) subway has been my go-to vehicle in the past months. It helps me to get from point A to B.

You can reach the Yorkdale Mall by riding the subway and stopping at Yorkdale Station.

The mall is connected to the station, so it was not hard to find.

Yorkdale Mall spans about 45 acres (2 million square feet). I was not able to visit all the stores, but I certainly found the brands I was looking for.

I even found my favourite milk tea shop.

What about you? What is your favourite store inside Yorkdale Mall? Let me know in the comments section below.

Talk to you soon.
