The day has finally arrived for my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. You may wonder why it took me a while to get one, but I have my reasons. The vaccination was made possible by Seneca College and the North York General Hospital.
As soon as I got the email from David Agnew, the president of Seneca College, on Monday, July 12, I immediately booked an appointment. The first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine were made available today at the Senecentre.
Seneca College has announced this week that being vaccinated is a condition of coming on to Seneca's campuses this fall.
As a Seneca College student, I want to go to campuses and experience in-person learning. To do that, I have to be vaccinated. Another reason why I finally decided to get my vaccine is that everyone in the house is vaccinated.
Here's my journey to getting my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine today.
Talk to you soon.
