Challenge Accepted

Maayong adlaw (good day) and welcome aboard. I'm so happy that you stumbled upon this page. I would like to introduce myself.

I'm Jay Ann Ramirez, the creator of Jay the Homebody blog. I'm originally from Cebu, Philippines, and I'm here In Toronto, Canada, studying journalism.

Starting today, I will be sharing my thoughts about a lot of things in a span of 30 days. This move is part of my Journalism in Public Life assignment.

I specifically created a different category for this project because I want to take you all in my 30-day blogging challenge. I call this a challenge because although I created this blog a few years ago, I always find it difficult to post updates every day.

I believe that this assignment will challenge me to do a daily diary on random things like food, music, events, movies, places, and life in general.

In the next few days, I will try my best to be as relevant as possible. As a very private person, I don't usually share my thoughts online. I like to keep things all to myself.

I hope to share a few life hacks, introduce some major languages in the Philippines, collaborate with other talented people, and maybe even sing. Who knows?

I'm excited about it and I hope you are too. In the meantime, I would like to leave you all with Music Travel Love's version of the song called "Stand by Me."

I hope that from this day forward, you will all stand by me as I take on this exciting challenge.
