Updated: Aug 6, 2021

Today I choose to talk about the severe flooding in China, which trapped people in a subway, turned streets into rivers, and displaced thousands of people.

According to the China Xinhua News report, a total of 25 people died in Henan Province.

Torrential rains have been affecting the province of Henan since last Saturday. Weather officials said the heavy downpour was the heaviest for 1,000 years.

Here are some photos of the rescue operation in Longtou village.

These are just some of the videos posted by reliable sources on social media.

Watching these videos make me realize how deadly flooding is. I have never seen anything like this before. I hope China recovers from this situation sooner and be more prepared in the future.

Talk to you soon.
