It was a wild and fun experience. Where do I start? The whole place is already too big to comprehend. We arrive early at the Cebu Safari & Adventure Park to make sure we see everything the area has to offer.
Warm Welcome
The excitement starts at the Welcome Pavilion, where the staff makes sure we are ready for the day. We receive our maps and tags at the ticket counter. And off we go . . .

Our first tram ride.
Michel's Garden
I love gardening. Although I don't consider myself a plantita, Michel's Garden provides a dreamy place for people who love gardening.
It is fascinating to see all the blooming orchids, mayanas, cacti, ferns, all sorts of flowers, and colorful greens in Michel's Garden. "I want to live here every day," is all I can think of at that moment.
The white tables with colorful flowers embedded in them as centerpieces provide an elegant look and idea of how it can be done at home. Pay attention to the aquaria.
Bird Show
You must see the bird show where macaws, lories, African crowned crane, Philippine sea eagle, Philippine owl, and Philippine hawk showcase their tricks and talents on the stage.

The staff makes sure we practice social distancing by placing markers where we should sit.
If birds can do it, why can't we? The bird show emphasizes the importance of disposing of garbage properly and respecting the feelings of animals by not forcing them to perform.
Be attentive during the show, because it might be your chance to connect with some of the birds. Volunteer!
Tiger Turf
I have never seen a tiger before. The tour made my dream come true. The tiger turf houses the white and orange Bengal tigers.
Fact: Tigers are the largest members of the cat family and are renowned for their power and strength, according to National Geographic. Read more about Bengal tigers here.
White Lion Safari
Meet the white lions (the kings of the wild) in the White Lion Safari. You need to take an enclosed safari truck to see them in their habitat. According to our tour guide, the lions came all the way from France and Germany.
Orangutown
Fact: Did you know that orangutan is a Malay word that means person of the forest? Orangutans are long-haired, orangish primates, highly intelligent, and are close relatives of humans.
Safari Outpost
You should not miss the Safari Outpost. This place takes care of the giraffes, meerkats, swans, ducks, pelicans, geese, and African Crowned Carne.

Get a closer look at the giraffes by riding a tram. One of them stood in our way, which allowed us to see how huge it was from the ground. It was awesome.
The Cebu Safari & Adventure Park also houses the following: blue and gold macaws, green-winged macaws, and scarlet ibises in Macaw Aviary; zebras, wildebeests, greater kudus blesboks, eland, impala, and waterbucks gemsbok in the African Savanna; and parrots, pigeons, and lories in the Aviary Dome.
Below are some of the photos I took during the tour.
