WHETHER you like it or not, there are times when you just want to stay at the comfort of your home.
You're probably telling me now that this article doesn't relate to you because you're always at work, hardly use your vacation leaves, or you don't have the slightest bit of being a homebody, whose life centers on Home.
However, you have to admit that there are benefits when you stay at home even for once in your lifetime. There are also lots of things you can do at home.
Declutter
If you haven't tried cleaning your room or the entire house, you should start now. Cleaning gives you a fun way to exercise and revisit those old photos of you when you were a toddler. Who knows? You might even stumble upon your decades-old toys.
Pamper Yourself
Staying at home also gives you the chance to reboot. You can now use that facial mask you've bought weeks ago, try the new nail polish you received months ago, or ask your favorite hair stylist to come over and give you a new look. Pamper yourself. After all, you need that fresh new you when you face the real world again.
Bond with Family
Aside from decluttering and pampering yourself, you can also spend quality time with some of the family members who may be at home. They can be your nephews, neices, uncles, aunties, siblings, parents, or grandparents. You don't have to do grand things for them. You just have to sit with them and have a good talk about life.
Discover Your Potentials
You may also want to consider trying new or developing existing talents like cooking, singing, dancing, painting, knitting, or vlogging. It's never too late to discover the new side of you. These potentials can also be used as stress relievers. Just remember to have fun.
Enjoy Online Subscriptions
Of course, when you're at home, you can have an uninterrupted use of your monthly subscriptions on Netflix, Spotify, and the like. Can you imagine how many movies and songs you can watch or listen to in a day? I can't even count. Make sure you get the best of all your subscriptions while they last.
These are just few of the significant advantages of staying at home. I'm sure you have a lot in mind. Do you think I miss some things? Let me know in the comments below. Also, it would be great if you suggest topics that I can write about. Thanks.
I may be a homebody, but I'm social. Follow me on Facebook at The Homebody and on Instagram @thehomebodyph. Don't forget to share this article with your friends. It won't cost you anything, and it will help me widen my exposure. LOL.
